Yoo-Jin Kang is a trainer, organizational consultant, executive coach, and healing justice practitioner with over 10 years of experience combining antiracist equity principles, public health, and trauma-informed care into her facilitation, consulting, and program design.

Yoo-Jin received her Bachelor's degrees from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and focused on intercultural communication, sociolinguistics, and violence prevention. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health at UC Berkeley, where she studies racism as a social determinant of health, particularly for BIPOC communities and survivors of violence in the workplace.

She is certified in trauma-informed yoga, mind-body medicine, and Reiki energy healing and integrates healing modalities throughout her work.

Yoo-Jin currently works as the Senior Advisor, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the Council on Foundations where she supports internal staff and members alike to integrate equity into all aspects of their work. Before her current role, Yoo-Jin worked as a Senior Technical Assistance Specialist at the Workplaces Respond program under Futures Without Violence, where she focused on providing trauma-informed consultation and programming for employers and employees. She is completing her graduate practicum with the Workplaces Respond and Health team at Futures Without Violence, where she is co-creating a healing program curriculum for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color domestic violence service providers.
