Cookie Franco-Herman is an Equity Officer for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. In this role, Cookie provides support to the Equity and Culture team in it’s partnership with the Equity Leadership Group and all program and operational departments to craft equity-action plans that are part of broader strategic goals and that support the advancement of practice shifts across the Foundation. She will also assist the Equity and Culture team to socialize and implement a new equity-competency framework in Human Resources, as a foundation for staff development and performance management.
Cookie joined the Foundation in 2007 and has been a pivotal member of the RWJF Investment Operations team. Most recently, Cookie performed database management, analysis, and reporting. In addition to her work in Investments, Cookie was a member of the Equity Leadership Group, a staff lead change leadership group that aims to create equitable access to opportunities and resources at RWJF.
Cookie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
